The 2023 Austrian GP Sprint Qualifying was a bit of a fever dream for Nico Hulkenberg and Haas. However, there were certainly mixed emotions over the events that took place. Haas has always been a strong contender in the top 10 every time out in Austria and this year was no different. After the normal qualifying for Sunday’s race got over, all eyes were on today’s drama filled sprint qualifying.

Nico Hulkenberg had qualified 8th for Sunday’s Austrian GP while Haas Teammate Kevin Magnussen was all the way down in 19th. The Sprint Qualifying results however were a bit better for the American team as both the drivers got into the top ten. While Kevin will be starting today’s sprint from 10th position, Nico will be starting from the 2nd row in 4th position. As the team took on to enjoy their triumph, an incident which happened in the pit lane during sprint qualifying was a bit concerning.
