The world of Formula 1 and its activities have been gaining some traction in recent years. The Netflix Series Drive to Survive and the upcoming Hollywood film starring Brad Pitt has excited fans. Now, the song, Freestyle from French rapper 667 has been released wherein he mentions Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc in his verse.

The popular French rapper Freeze Corleone, commonly known as 667 had created a French-based rap named Freestyle. In the song, the rapper referenced the names of F1 drivers. Although the French artist hasn’t dedicated an entire verse to the drivers, he has rapped enough about the two drivers to give an idea of the sport’s popularity worldwide.

In the verse, he claims to have more cash than Leclerc, presumably indicating that he is earning much more money as compared to Ferrari driver, Charles Leclerc. This dig must’ve been made in light of the recent performance slump from Leclerc where the Monegasque failed to secure a great finish in the championship standings.

I have to cash in more than 4 Leclerc.

Additionally, after the previous line, he reckons that he is Max Verstappen while the viewer is Charles Leclerc. However, the following lines of the verse do not seem to correlate with these lines as the subsequent lyrics are about something else. Hence, from this line, one could assume that 667 is referring to Max Verstappen’s domination this season compared to Leclerc’s zero race wins.

I'm like Max Verstappen you're like Charles Leclerc.

Max Verstappen wouldn’t be in the sport for as long as Fernando Alonso

The Dutchman is just 26 years old currently but has been in the F1 grid for almost eight years now. However, Verstappen already has three consecutive world championship titles to his name. The 26-year-old has been locked with Red Bull till 2029 and has no plans to change the teams before this period. Hence, Christian Horner reckoned that the Dutchman won’t be in the sport for much longer.

The Spaniard Fernando Alonso is currently 42 years old and has been in the sport for quite a while now. Despite his age, the Asturian had an impressive performance this season with Aston Martin and finished P4 in the championship standing. Horner insisted that Verstappen likely won’t stay for 18 more years but, time will tell.

Verstappen and Red Bull aim to continue their domination in the following season. The team, on multiple occasions, has talked about the likelihood of replicating this season’s performance. Although this would be difficult for Milton Keynes as this season was on a different level.
