Lewis Hamilton, the former seven-time Formula 1 world champion, has been making the most of the ongoing winter break. After a challenging 2023 campaign, he has been indulging himself in various activities, and quite recently, he has enjoyed a lot while surfing at a specific beach.

Lewis Hamilton has a well-known reputation in the F1 paddock for being an adventure junkie. Over the years, the Brit has done quite a few adventurous things away from the pinnacle of motor racing, and following in with the tradition, he has once again showcased his love for adventure.

Surfing is an immensely technical sport that requires a specific skill set. It involves a lot of maneuvering of the body to stay on top of the surfboard but Hamilton, to his credit, has done well riding the waves while maintaining his balance. From the video, his surfing skills are visible.

Lewis Hamilton wants to challenge for the F1 world championship

While Lewis Hamilton is making the most of the ongoing F1 winter break, he needs a car during the 2024 F1 season with which he would be able to have a serious go at the world championship. It has been two years since Hamilton was last seen fighting for the title.

Under the current set of regulations, Mercedes has struggled immensely to produce a title-worthy car but with two years out of the way, there is a growing belief in the F1 paddock that the German team might be able to fight Max Verstappen and Co. for the title during next year’s campaign.

Despite Lewis Hamilton’s aging body, he is still as fast as ever to fight for the F1 world championship. Considering everything, the onus is really on the Toto Wolff-led Mercedes F1 team, to present a piece of lethal machinery to Hamilton for the all-important 2024 F1 season.
