Recently, there have mostly been two topics of discussions in the Formula 1 world–longtime Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari, and Red Bull placing Christian Horner on investigation due to inappropriate behavior. The former news has been received by sceptic fans with varied responses as some are happy for Lewis Hamilton and others are taken aback that he has chosen to switch teams at an age when most racers retire from F1. But Christian Horner’s news has rocked the entire Formula One world since Red Bull has placed one of their most valued employees under a serious investigation.

Christian Horner is currently the longest-serving Team Boss amongst all others in Formula 1. Previously, it was AlphaTauri’s (now Visa Cashapp Racing Bulls) Franz Tost, but the Austrian retired at 77 last year. Horner joined Red Bull as the Team Leader in 2005 when Dietrich Mateschitz bought and renamed the Jaguar Racing Team. Ever since the start, Christian Horner has been instrumental in the team getting 6 World Constructors’ Championships and 7 World Drivers’ Championship titles.

Despite all of the achievements that Red Bull unlocked under the guidance of Christian Horner, the Briton’s future at the team seems bleak due to the ongoing investigation into his acts. When another Team Boss, James Vowles of Williams, was asked to comment on it, he responded rather vaguely.

These allegations are allegations, I'm afraid, I don't have any understanding of--what is behind them and the significance of what has happened. All I can say that should this ever happen in our regard, we'll be entirely supportive in terms of fixing it.

Speaking of the efforts and the hard work that went into making the Williams racecar, James Vowles said he lost sleep over it.

I wasn't sleeping for days--the weight of 1,000 people falls on your shoulders.
James Vowles said, as reported by the BBC.

In other news, James Vowles has sounded quite optimistic about his team’s chances of fighting for the points in 2024. Over the last few years, Williams’ performance has not been up to the mark, and yet they are hopeful that with the FW46, both Logan Sargeant as well as Alex Albon will seen points finishes during the F1 race weekends.
