The 2022 Abu Dhabi GP was Sebastian Vettel’s last race of his career. The Four time world champion has gone on to bag a plethora of achievements and inspire many minds. A driver that is so kind and caring like Seb is hard to come by. As emotional this weekend was for the German driver, there were many of his fans who seemed to be even more emotional since he will be leaving the sport.
Before the race, it was confirmed that the top 3 finishers of the 2022 Abu Dhabi GP will get to do donuts on the start/ finish straight. Apart from that, Sebastian Vettel was also allowed to do donuts to celebrate as his glorious career in F1 comes to an end. The German took full advantage of this and went on to burn some rubber and spin his car multiple times.
It was a beautiful moment that everyone got to witness. Having done that, Sebastian Vettel got out of his car and went on to give an interview. It was the German driver’s last ever time doing that in F1 and it was an emotional moment. After Seb’s wonderful speech, he headed back and that’s when tear’s started to flow. The 4 time world champ couldn’t hold it in as it was a very emotional moment for him.

Here is how the fans reacted to Seb’s moment of realisation that it was now over.
Saying goodbye to a sport must have been very tough for Seb after being in it for 2 decades. A driver that has helped and inspired so many minds. It is sad to see him go but then again, once you’re a racer, you will never stop yearning that feeing. Which is why we believe that Vettel will be back soon. Never say never because this German has still got a lot left in him to give and clearly has the skillset. Until next time Seb.
