Sebastian Vettel, the former four-time F1 World Champion has recently visited the Stoke Mandeville Hospital in order to meet the patients and the brilliant work that the staff there is doing in the field of rehabilitation.
The Stoke Mandeville Hospital is a National Health Service(NHS) that is located on the borders of Alesbury and Stoke Mandeville, Buckinghamshire. The hospital is widely known especially for its National Spinal Injuries center which is one the largest spinal units in the World.
In recent years, the staff at the hospital has done some brilliant work in the field of rehabilitation, and Sebastian Vettel on behalf of the Aston Martin F1 team has taken the time from his busy schedule to learn about the work that they are doing, and also to bring smiles to the patients who have been fighting their long-term health-related battles.
Moreover, Aston Martin via their Twitter handle has expressed appreciation for the work that the hospital has done and has written, “We were all inspired by the heroic work being done at the unit and the sheer courage on display from the patients.“
