Max Verstappen who has already in his young F1 career secured a World Championship was molded for the sport from the very beginning and with the help of this piece we are going to have a look at the moment when a young Max first met former F1 great, Michael Schumacher.

Michael Schumacher in his racing days was considered a prodigy who straight away after entering the sport was able to go wheel to wheel with the world beaters of his time.

Michael held the record for the most number of F1 wins for a very long time which ultimately came to an end at the hands of Lewis Hamilton. The German won a massive 91 Grand Prix in his F1 career.

Michael was a fearless driver who used to take his livery to the limit during his racing days and it seems Verstappen also took some of Schumacher’s fearless approach within himself when he met Schumacher for the first time.

Max’s father Jos Verstappen was a racing driver as well so it was very obvious that Verstappen was also going to get introduced to the sport at some point. His learning started at a very young age and was now and then seen around the paddock with his father Jos Verstappen.

Michael Schumacher won his first World Championship at the age of 25 years and went on to win an additional six taking his tally to an extremely impressive 7 World titles.

Moreover, after looking at Max Verstappen’s last season, it seems the Dutchman is also on the same path as Michael Schumacher. The Dutchman won his first F1 title last year at the age of 24 and is now well on his way to cementing his legacy in the sport.

Max Verstappen during the current F1 season is driving at an extremely high level and on many occasions has proved too hot to handle for his rivals.

The Dutchman after 13 rounds has already amassed 8 Grand Prix wins and is looking all set to secure his second World title. Michael never looked back once he first got the taste of his first World Championship and so is proving to be the case with Max Verstappen.

Michael Schumacher won 7 World Championships in F1 and the way Versrtappen’s career is panning out, there are very good chances that he would be able to go beyond or at least level his tally of Championships.
