Williams claims they can ‘consistently fight for points’ in 2024

Williams F1 Team unveiled FW46 in New York this week ahead of the upcoming 2024 Formula 1 season. The car is expected to bring good results like the FW45, 2023 Challenger, which helped the team achieve seventh position in the constructors championship last year. The team principal James Vowles is confident about having a solid season in 2024.
The ex-Mercdes man expects the team must bring in good results for the English team. He believes Williams can do better, with Alex Albon’s considered certainty and Logan Sargent having a year of experience behind him. The team expects its drivers to stay ahead in the midfield battle and consistently fight for points.
It is a significant achievement to unveil the 2024 livery in an iconic location like New York City. The FW46 has been at the centre of the team’s attention for many months now and there is still a huge commitment from everyone at Grove to deliver our car this year. Vowles, who took over Williams as a team Principal a year ago, believes that they have overcome many challenges together and built a good foundation. Williams Re-signs a sponsorship with Komatsu
With the new blue livery launch at nothing but a very iconic location in New York City, Williams took the opportunity to announce their multi-year partnership with Komatsu. The team Principal James Vowels mentioned, that they are delighted to be rekindling their relationship with Komatsu.
Komatsu is a leading construction, mining, forestry, and industrial heavy equipment manufacturer. Williams had a successful partnership with Komatsu in the 1980s and 1990s. Williams has won host races and championships with the help of the supply of gearbox components for the title-winning 1996 and 1997 cars.
