Max Verstappen
The Red Bull driver Max Verstappen opened up about the car for the inaugural Miami Grand Prix, which is set to be on this Sunday. Max stated that Red Bull are unable to find the “right setup” for the car ahead of the first practice session, as the track is new and challenging, which could pose some problems for the team.
Verstappen stated that you always wish to have a weekend like Imola, but it cannot always happen, things can go right or wrong, and the team has to work hard for that.
Max Verstappen had a glorious victory in the Emiliga Romagna Grand Prix, and it was also a victorious day for the team, as his teammate, Sergio Perez finished second, making it a 1-2 for the team. The last time Red Bull had a 1-2 finish was back in 2016, during the Malaysian GP, where Daniel Ricciardo finished first and was followed up by Max Verstappen.

About the Miami GP; “There are very nice fast corners, the straights are very long but the track also has narrow sections, those are interesting too. We will see what the ideal set-up of the car will be, trying to combine the different parts of the track,” said the Dutchman.
As we saw in during the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix this year, the Red Bulls are incredibly fast on straights, and so they choose the setup for their car accordingly, but the Miami GP is a mix of long straights and tight corners, and hence, it is a difficult task for Red Bull to carry along.

The teams are sketchy about the Miami Grand Prix and the setups

Many teams, including Mercedes have expressed their concern about the Miami Grand Prix, as the track is completely alien to all the drivers. The simulations have worked out pretty well, but FP1 is yet to take place, and that is the only time when teams would be able to analyze the track in reality and find out about the potential setups.
As of now, Max Verstappen has two victories and he DNFd in the remaining two races, and is still standing 2nd in the championship. Red Bull stand 2nd in the constructors’ with 113 points.
