French GP has been a matter to talk about in the last few months. French GP is considered as one of the most boring and not-so-entertaining races in the season’s calendar. With not many chances of overtaking, the circuit doesn’t have much to offer. With the recent rumours of the track being thrown out of the calendar, the French GP organiser still has hopes to stay.

Stefano Domenicali, CEO of Formula 1 group, plans to bring in South Africa as a possible weekend in 2023. Including South Africa will result to one of the circuits losing out its contract with Formula 1. The spa also is considered at possible risk of being excluded next season, it could be either of the circuits we might not witness again in the coming future.

CEO also has plans to introduce a new rotation system, which means we might see some tracks on at intervals of a season and not annually. Also mixing a making a combination of new and traditional tracks.

With many drivers, winners and champions coming from the country, the country also has its own team and drivers on the grid right now. Pierre Guyonnet praised the circuit with all the excitement it gives us.

“France has an important place in the automotive industry and motor racing history. We have champions, two Formula 1 driver and with Alpine also a team in Formula 1,” He said.

France GP has been kind to the sport in the last couple of years. 2021, with a title fight throughout the season, France GP was one of the biggest entertainment last year. Max Verstappen has won two of the races here, with Lewis Hamilton before him.
