Former Mercedes driver, Nico Rosberg has placed his bets on Lewis Hamilton to win the British Grand Prix against the odds of McLaren and Red Bull. Hamilton starts P2 at Silverston after an eventful qualifying for the Silver Arrows, who start P1 and P2 on the grid.

Lewis Hamilton has been a winner in F1 on 103 occasions, with him amassing seven world championships since his debut in 2007. However, the British driver is currently on a winless drought, having failed to achieve the top spot since the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

But in light of the recent developments at Mercedes, Hamilton now finds himself in a convincing position to battle for the win on his home turf in Silverstone. Witnessing the recent upsurge of form within the Silver Arrows, ex-world champion, Nico Rosberg has pitted Lewis Hamilton to take the chequered flag, beating the likes of Lando Norris and teammate George Russell, who start at the front as well.

Who am i gonna go for? I am gonna go for Lewis Hamilton today. I think Mercedes have been looking good and his race pace around here as I remember it cause i had to compete against that, its really really strong on this track, so i feel he's going to do the Lewis magic and make the win.
Nico Rosberg said in an interview with SkySportsF1

Rosberg claimed that Hamilton has always been in special form while racing on his home turf. While the 39-year-old may face the wrath of the pacey McLarens and Red Bulls, he can manage to secure the win against all odds. The upcoming race will surely prove to be an important one for Hamilton as he looks to conjure a masterful drive around the high-speed corners of Silverstone.

Nico Rosberg deems Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari move a ‘dream for every driver’

Rosberg has deemed Ferrari a feasible team for Hamilton to race for during the closing years of his career. Hamilton announced earlier this campaign that he would be driving for Ferrari at the start of 2025 after 12 glorious years with Mercedes.

It's a nice way to end the career as well, isn't it? To do the Ferrari move as well, it's a dream for every driver. He's done the Mercedes part which is also the dream for every driver, so i think its fine, its gonna be an incredible experience there in the mix as well because there is a chance they can be really strong as well next year, so i understand his move.
Nico Rosberg said in an interview with SkySports

Ferrari has been a strong force this season and was chosen by many to have the edge over Red Bull and McLaren in the championship. However, a recent decline in form has left the Maranello-based outfit in desperate need of wins and podiums to reignite their hopes.

On the other hand, Mercedes has improved race upon race since the Monaco GP, and is currently one of the most competent squads in F1.:This has led to questions regarding Hamilton’s move in 2025. But the seven-time race winner as well as Nico Rosberg have clarified that short-term issues with the Maranello-based outfit need not be indicative of the team’s competence in the upcoming season.
