Lando Norris claims he didn’t ‘make the right decision’ at the rain-borne British GP
Lando Norris was starting the British GP from the second row after the front-row lockout by Mercedes. However, the Briton lost out the position quickly to Max Verstappen towards the initial parts of the race. Regardless, the 24-year-old battled it out on the track and finished P3 after a close battle with Verstappen.
The drivers had to make the crucial decision of the compound during the expected light to heavy rains mid-way of the race. Upon this, Norris decided to stick to a different decision than expected. As a result, the 24-year-old noted that he didn’t make the right decisions. Regardless, the Briton took responsibility for the wrong decisions and added that he ‘hated’ the situation.
I’m not making the right decisions, At the same time, I blame myself today for not making some of the right decisions but I hate it. I hate ending in this position and ever having excuses for not doing a good enough job but I’m still happy. I’m still going to enjoy it.Lando Norris said, as reported by planetf1.com.
McLaren will continue to develop the chassis to remain the fastest challenger on the current grid.
