Piastri noted that he was hungry and ready to fight for the title in the 2026 season and give a tough fight to the rivals. Now, the 24-year-old looks back at the ‘rollercoaster’ of a season and his game plan for the coming year.
Oscar Piastri accepted that the 2025 season certainly was a rollercoaster. Despite the title loss and disappointing contingencies towards the end of the year, Piastri noted that he was proud of himself and McLaren as a whole. Yeah, it definitely was (a rollercoaster). You know, looking back on it, on the whole, I’m very proud of what I achieved. Also, for the team to have a car and a season as strong as we did was a great success. Obviously, [there were] a few bumps along the road and a few hurdles to get over, and plenty of lessons learned for the future.
