Speaking on the upcoming battle, Oscar Piastri insisted that the intensity of the battle was bound to increase as the season finale came closer. The Aussie asserted that he was ready for the battle, no matter how hard it would get. The 24-year-old recalled that he had been in such a championship position in his junior categories as well, and thus, he was well prepared for the massive challenge.

The intensity will kind of naturally increase as we get closer to the end of the year, and I’m ready for that, I’ve been in this position before in other championships, and that kind of feeling and that countdown to the end of the year are the same.
