Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has spoken about the struggles of the RB20 this season. Horner has said that the team has been persistently on the job to find solutions but has not had the best of luck so far this season.

Both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez have constantly complained of issues with the handling of the RB20 this season. Despite this, Verstappen leads the championship, amassing seven wins and nine podiums to his name.

Christian Horner has made a comparison between the RB20 and McLaren’s MCL38, stating the latter is in a better position than them. The Papayas have been a more organized force, outpacing the Milton-Keynes outfit several times this season.

Their car is in a better window than ours at the moment. It has a broader window. Our window seems to be very peaky, and that's what's making it difficult for the engineers, difficult for the drivers.
Christian Horner told the media including RacingNews365

Contrary to Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez has been far from impressive in his performances with the RB20 this year. The two drivers will now expect the team to make viable changes in order to hit the ground running after the summer break.

It is of course tragic that he is having his best season at Ferrari and is not getting a seat in a top team. But things should be moving forward at Williams, he has a strong engine there too.

Helmut Marko has praised Carlos Sainz for his performance with the Maranello-based team this season. The 81-year-old therefore concluded that Sainz deserved a top team instead of Williams, who are currently ninth in the championship this season.

Marko, however, backed the Grove-based team to rise along the ranks upon securing the services of the talented Spaniard. Sainz will now hope to write a prosperous new chapter at Williams, eyeing many strong outings with them.
