The Red Bull F1 team has experienced a steep decline in its 2024 performances. From winning seven races out of the first ten, to now being winless since the last six races, the team has gone through a major dip.
McLaren has been on the rise continuously and with them being only eight points behind Red Bull in the Constructors championship, Sergio Perez feels the title is theirs to lose. Lando Noris and Co. have a real shot at securing the lead at the end of next week’s event in Baku.

Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen had a huge struggle in Monza, where the duo ended up outside the top five. McLaren, on the other hand, managed a double podium finish.

Looking at the short and precise comments of the six-time Grand Prix winner, it is quite clear that Red Bull does not have a positive outlook toward the constructors’ tussle. However, Perez has kept the door open on a Red Bull charge seeing how the upcoming races will pan out for them.
Sergio Perez wants to win a ‘few more titles’ with Red Bull
While Red Bull has had a pretty up-and-down 2024 campaign, Sergio Perez on his end, has had a bit of a shocker in terms of on-track performance. Moreover, because of this, he was on the verge of getting sacked before the summer break.

Despite this, Perez is hopeful of continuing his career with Red Bull and winning a few more championships.
It’s a team that has given me everything, and I want to give everything back to them as well. Hopefully, we are able to win a few more championships.Sergio Perez via the same interview
The 34-year-old has been making his trade with Red Bull since 2021. Perez has done a relatively decent job but during the ongoing campaign, he has just not been at a satisfactory level.
Verstappen has done most of the heavy lifting and considering this, he will be required to pull his weight during the remaining eight races. Otherwise, there will be a strong possibility of him being shown the exit door ahead of next year’s campaign.
