The Las Vegas GP is one of Lewis Hamilton‘s final three races with Mercedes. The seven-time world champion hopes to end his journey with Brackley on a high note. However, the Briton could only manage tenth place in Qualifying. Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff pointed out Hamilton’s target for Sunday’s race after the session.
Wolff claimed that the seven-time world champion had the pace to be on the front row. Hamilton’s teammate George Russell claimed pole position in ‘Sin City.’ Though, Toto Wolff asserted that the 39-year-old has one of the quicker cars in the middle of the pecking order.
The Austrian billionaire reckoned that Lewis Hamilton will find it easy to overtake a few cars at the start of the race. The Mercedes team boss indicated that the 39-year-old could even be in contention for race victory. However, a podium was a more realistic target for the Briton.

Thus, Lewis Hamilton would not have lost hope over his prospects for Sunday. The seven-time world champion seems to have an advantage against rivals in terms of pure pace. However, it remains to be seen if Hamilton can fulfill the target of finishing on the podium in Las Vegas.
