Red Bull’s Max Verstappen is one of the most competitive drivers in Formula 1 at the moment. He has been crowned as the champion of this season with nine wins and 14 podiums to his name so far.

Max Verstappen has since shared that he would have liked to race against his father, Jos Verstappen. Verstappen Sr. raced at the pinnacle of motorsport in the years between 1994 and 2003. He is not as accomplished as his championship-winning son and has amassed only two podiums in his career.

Verstappen feels that he would be able to beat his dad if they were to go head to head in racing. The 27-year-old also admits that his father always wanted him to be a better driver than himself.

Junior Red Bull drivers usually secure a chance at the main team after outscoring their teammates for a couple of seasons. However, Tsunoda’s scenario remains unexplained to all, as Red Bull has not delivered any statement so far.
