Lewis Hamilton is a Formula 1 icon. The seven-time world champion is arguably the most famous F1 driver in and outside the paddock. The Briton even had a long list of celebrity partners including Nicole Scherzinger. Now, Hamilton joked about the time when he expressed his love for Pop icon Jennifer Lopez.

During the Emilia Romagna GP, Lewis Hamilton revealed that he had told Lopez about his love for her. George Russell pointed out that the American singer was married. However, Hamilton pointed out that he simply told her how he had fallen in love with her when he was young. The 39-year-old even called Jennifer Lopez beautiful.

On the other hand, Russell took a dig at the seven-time world champion, claiming that Lopez’s husband Ben Affleck would’ve loved hearing this chat. Lewis Hamilton gave a hilarious reply, stating that the Batman actor was not there. Subsequently, the British driver just tried his shot with the American icon. It must be noted that rumors have surfaced that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck could be headed for a divorce, As such, Hamilton’s comments come at an interesting time.

Lewis Hamilton apologizes to Max Verstappen over Free Practice incident at Emilia Romagna GP

Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen had a brief incident on Friday at the Emilia Romagna GP. The seven-time world champion ended up impeding his arch-rival during free-practice. Although, the British driver was not penalized for the incident.

Hamilton pointed out that he was on a cool down lap during this incident. However, the 39-year-old failed to spot Max Verstappen in due to time to give the Dutchman room. Lewis Hamilton admitted that it was his fault and even tried to apologize to Verstappen. The seven-time world champion claimed that Max Verstappen was already frustrated.

Geesh, I was on the cool down lap, I thought I was well clear, but all of a sudden he [Max Verstappen] was like right on me. Ultimately it was my mistake, I tried to apologize but he was too frustrated already.
Lewis Hamilton stated

Lewis Hamilton has seemed content with his practice runs at the Emilia Romagna GP. The British driver would be hoping to have a decent Qualifying session to start the race from the front of the field. This weekend could be a great opportunity for the seven-time world champion to bag a podium finish.
