Zak Brown claims Lando Norris is ‘too harsh on himself’ after the Briton secures Pole for Dutch GP
Zak Brown revealed the key aspect about Lando Norris that set him apart from the rivals on the grid after securing the Dutch GP pole.

Lando Norris has continued to enjoy the dominant performance from McLaren’s chassis since the beginning of the 2024 season. Woking has managed a great comeback in performance since last year. As a result, the team is on the trajectory to oust Red Bull from the constructors’ championship position down the line. Zak Brown has highlighted Norris’ attitude that sets him apart from others.
The Dutch GP qualifying was positive for Lando Norris as he scored the pole position despite Max Verstappen breathing down his neck. The 24-year-old has often been termed as being too harsh on himself. However, the ability helps the Briton to continue to score well in the pinnacle of motorsport.

Zak Brown was full of praises for Norris after the latter scored the Dutch GP pole position. Brown reckoned that Norris was honest with everyone but sometimes too hard on himself. The 24-year-old would be harsh on himself for even the smallest mistakes. However, after the pole position, it was evident that the Briton was quite happy.

Lando Norris labeled Zandvoort pole position as ‘best opportunity’ to prove his hard work
Lando Norris worked hard over the summer break to deem a great latter half to the 2024 season. The Briton reckoned that he wanted to win but wasn’t desperate at the same time. Subsequently, the 24-year-old noted that ‘despair’ didn’t lead to success. Regardless, Norris worked hard over the summer and would use the pole position as the best opportunity to showcase the same.

McLaren has continued to provide Norris with the best challenger on the grid to score well. The drivers’ title currently seems a bit far-fetched for the 24-year-old due to Verstappen’s results. However, Norris will try his best to contend for the title towards the end of the season after witnessing Red Bull’s performance slump.
