Zak Brown is currently the CEO of McLaren Racing, while overseeing the entire organization and working on its strategies. The 51-year-old joined the Woking-based team in 2018 and has changed the whole landscape since. Zak was also part of other ventures prior to joining McLaren. Brown had a vast career in motorsport, having raced in a wide spectrum of championships, be it the British Formula 3 series or even the American Le Mans.

Most notably Zak Brown co-founded United Autosports and competed with the team for a full season of the British GT championship. Brown is one of the richest team bosses in the F1 paddock. He founded what became one of the largest motorsport marketing agencies in 1995, known as Just Marketing International or JMI. It was later on sold in 2013.
