McLaren CEO Zak Brown has fired shots at Red Bull on how bad their environment is currently and calling it as ‘toxic environment’. The Austrian team has been facing a difficult period following controversies around Christian Horner and Adrian Newey‘s shock exit.
Brown recently discussed Red Bull’s issues with the team following Adrian Newey’s departure. The American claimed Red Bull is a very unhealthy place to work right now and thinks things might get even worse.

The 52-year-old explained that this situation is happening because of Newey’s departure, as most of the technicians, engineers, and other members joined the team because of Newey. Zak Brown further mentioned that resumes are circulating from Red Bull employees who want to leave the team. Brown assumes the situation in future might get even worse.

Brown acknowledges that it’s common for people to leave teams when the environment becomes more uneasy than usual. The American reckoned that the team will face difficulty in attracting sponsors in the future, as they will be cautious about the associations which they make. This situation presents a challenge for Milton Keynes.
That happens all the time, but you see a higher level of discomfort. I also think that in the future it will be more difficult with sponsors, because they are going to examine carefully what they are associated with. That's a tricky situation.Zak Brown explained
Brown further highlighted the drama caused by Red Bull’s star driver Max Verstappen. The McLaren boss claimed that fans were wondering whether Verstappen will stay with the team or leave at the end of the season
Even though Verstappen has a contract, it’s still not confirmed whether he will leave or stay. Zak Brown claimed that Max Verstappen’s father Jos Verstappen is very outspoken. As the former F1 driver has expressed his feelings over the situation at Red Bull previously.
