Dana White’s Contender Series has become an important part of the UFC. Undefeated middleweight Torrez Finney doesn’t know how to quit. The middleweight fighter recently registered his third win at the Dana white contender series in order to secure a UFC contract. However, it was not easy for the American as he had to work a lot extra to get that opportunity.
This Tuesday, UFC Apex held the eighth season of DWCS, and White handed out UFC contracts to all five victors. Among them was Finney, who had won the competition three times. While White wasn’t satisfied the previous two times and questioned Finny’s approach, this time he was certainly impressed and enthusiastic.
Finney fought Abdellah Er-Ramy in a middleweight bout and won it via TKO in the very first round. His last fight was underwhelming for Dana White. This time, Finney brought a different energy and didn’t waste time finishing his opponent. The fan-favorite fighter took Er-Ramy to the ground and attempted an arm triangle.
