Has The Rock set his sights on Roman Reigns following his groundbreaking return at Bad Blood? It seems like it. As pointed out by Wrestle Ops on X, the official video uploaded on WWE’s YouTube channel reads that Rock had a staredown with Roman. Apart from The OTC, Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Uso were also present in the ring.

After the show went off air, The People’s Champ went ballistic while going live on Instagram. There was a moment in that video where he lambasted Cody but stressed on how his father, Dusty Rhodes, was one of Rock’s heroes in wrestling. The real-life Dwayne Johnson has yet to pinpoint his next target. By the looks of it, either Rhodes or Reigns could be the ones.

Earlier this year, the 52-year-old made his in-ring return to WWE after an eight-year hiatus. At WrestleMania XL, the Hollywood actor joined forces with his cousin to take on Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. The conclusion of what was billed as the biggest tag team match saw Rock pin Cody. The fans and critics were heavily impressed by Dwayne’s movements during that 40-minute slugfest.

In one of the interviews, Johnson revealed that it’d taken him up to 12 weeks of training camp to get ring ready. NXT faction Gallus worked closely with the Jumanji actor to assure he got his reflexes back. Needless to say, that painstaking process was pivotal in helping The Brahma Bull in his return to being an in-ring WWE competitor.

After a historic two-night extravaganza in Philadelphia, Johnson left for his Hollywood commitments. Before bowing out, the Attitude Era doyen applauded Seth Rollins as the MVP of WrestleMania for his stellar showing despite carrying an injury.

Fans lay down possible scenarios for The Rock post-Bad Blood return

Now that The Rock is back, the obvious question begs, What’s next for him? As far as social media is concerned, the fans there are convinced that WWE is finally building towards that much-fancied dream match with Roman Reigns—the battle of these two Samoan stalwarts.

However, previous reports suggest that it wouldn’t happen before WrestleMania 42. It’d be interesting to see if WWE has made any changes to those plans. Some fans also believe that there’s a slight chance of having Rock, Roman, and Cody Rhodes in a triple-threat match for the Undisputed WWE title next year at WrestleMania.

There’s rumors that Rock might also have some involvement at Survivor Series: WarGames. A Bloodline civil war is expected to go down inside that double-caged structure. Whether Rocky fits into it or not would be made public shortly.
