The interim reign of Becky Lynch came to a halt at King and Queen of the Ring PLE this afternoon. She began her title defense against Liv Morgan methodically. But the latter seemed as if she had came prepared. The bout was a stalemate for quite a bit. At one point, both women were perched on the top rope. However, the Women’s World Champion nailed Morgan with a missile drop kick right on the money. But she kicked out.

The challenger soon planted the champ with a missile drop kick of her own. But again, the predicament wasn’t enough of a threat for Lynch. Liv then caught Becky with a kick right on the latter’s ear just for her to power out at the last second. The Man eventually locked Morgan in a dis-arm her and she screamed in agony. Then, at ringside, Dominik Mysterio showed up out of nowhere.

That allowed Liv to plant Becky with a code breaker but she survived. Big Time Becks instructed Dom to leave the ringside area. Mysterio threw a steel chair towards Becky to help her thwart Morgan. But it backfired on the Irish Lass Kicker herself. Gionna Daddio hit her with yet another code breaker and the Judgment Day member was on the ring apron trying to instigate the referee by then.

In the meantime, Daddio smelled blood and saw the steel chair lying on the canvas. She then turned the tides on The Man by ensuring she went head first on chair via DDT. At last, the 29-year-old from New Jersey put away Becky Lynch after executing her finishing maneuver, the Oblivion. As a result, Liv Morgan captured the Women’s World title with Dominik visibly upset at the outcome.

Fans drag Rhea Ripley into the mix after Dominik Mysterio bottled up Liv Morgan’s fate

Dominik Mysterio had vowed that he’d do everything he could to keep Liv Morgan away from gold. However, the 26-year-old couldn’t keep his word, and Rhea Ripley would be mad. The Eradicator would’ve never thought that the title that was once strapped around her waist would go into the laps of Liv Morgan after merely a month of relinquishing it.

Reacting to Mysterio’s subpar outing at King and Queen of the Ring, the netizens on X bashed him left and right. A fan said that Mami will now send her Dom-Dom back to prison. Another one even wondered if this would prompt the Australian wrestler to quit The Judgment Day.

Overall, the fans seemed satisfied with how the title bout between Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch panned out. Some folks were elated over the fact that Liv finally got one up on Lynch. It would be interesting to see how WWE books the newly-crowned champion.
