Anything worth doing is worth doing twice, believes WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque in regard to WrestleMania returning to Las Vegas for a second year on the trot. The Game has confirmed that the Allegiant Stadium will once again play host to The Show of Shows on April 18 and 19, 2026. One could check the full announcement video below.

As seen, Levesque is standing on the roof of the stadium where he began touting the unprecedented success of WrestleMania 41, which came to Vegas after a 31 year wait. The Cerebral Assassin regurgitated that the two-night entertainment spectacle roped in record attendance and sky-high viewership for the company.

On that note, it’s time to double down, Vegas, asserted the 14-time world champion. It’s worth noting that WrestleMania in 2026 was originally headed to New Orleans, Louisiana. The revelation was made by TKO board member and Hollywood mogul Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson back in February upon his return to SmackDown.

Had it stayed the course, it would have been the first WrestleMania to emanate from NOLA since 2018. After stripping ‘The Big Easy’ of a gargantuan spectacle like WrestleMania, WWE has announced that it’ll host next year’s Money in the Bank PLE on August 29, 2026.

The rationale behind the switch in locations for The Showcase of the Immortals is nothing but optimization of the revenue. As per a report from PWInsider, the TKO officials are under the impression that doubling down on Vegas for WrestleMania 42 will help them surpass the money they made out of the event held there a few months ago.

Fans upset with WrestleMania returning to Las Vegas in 2026

The fan reaction to the news of WrestleMania 42 being relocated to Las Vegas was never viewed in a good light from the get-go itself. But now that Triple H has come up with an official announcement, the netizens are up in arms. The majority of the comments beneath his post on X are oozing pessimism. First and foremost, the perennial price-gouging concerns have everyone in the doldrums.

An account posted a Roman Reigns meme to depict how they’d react to $40,000 tickets for WrestleMania 42. One even joked that they’d need to mortgage something to afford a visit to The Showcase of the Immortals next year. The WWE Universe is wary of the exorbitant demands the TKO/WWE synergy is going to ask of them, just like they did recently.

Other fan complaints included the silent crowd allegations for Vegas at WrestleMania 41. It might happen again. A fan posted a GIF featuring Roman Reigns and The Rock, saying this dream match should finally happen next year. Another fan sarcastically predicted the night 2 main event of Mania ’26 between Logan Paul and Jake Paul with the way WWE was chasing the mainstream figures at this point.

What’s the latest on WrestleMania in London talks?

When it was revealed that NOLA would no longer host WrestleMania 42 and Las Vegas wasn’t disclosed to be the potential backup, the fans started dreaming about WWE finally taking its biggest event of the year overseas. The rumors started making the rounds on the internet that WrestleMania in London might actually be in the cards for 2026. However, in hindsight, it was merely wishful thinking.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has reasserted that he wants to bring The Showcase of the Immortals to the UK capital. Khan said this in a statement to CNBC News and even mentioned Triple H while doing so. However, with WWE now seeking hefty site fees to finalize any of the venues for its events, London isn’t keen on ponying up the money, as per Fightful.

With that in mind, there’s pretty much a stalemate situation in that regard at the moment. The idea of WrestleMania in London was first coined by John Cena in his surprise appearance at Money in the Bank in 2023 at the O2 Arena. Since then, both Triple H and WWE President Nick Khan have held talks with the Mayor of London but things have yet to materialize.
