“Felt like coming from poor country to rich country” – Pakistan PM and former cricketer Imran Khan talks of moving from India to Pakistan

Prime Minister and former cricketer Imran Khan’s chair in Pakistan is in danger at the moment. If the opposition prevails, their government will fall on Saturday. Imran Khan has to prove his majority in Parliament on Saturday. Meanwhile, ahead of the same the Pakistani Prime Minister addressed the nation on National TV on Thursday evening.
He called emotionally for support and also spoke about India among other things. He said that in the 1980s when he used to come to Pakistan, playing cricket from India, he felt that he had come from a poor country to a rich country. He said, gradually the corrupt leaders started ruining the country and today the situation is completely different.

Nonetheless, Imran Khan’s statement has received a lot of buzz in social media. People on social media have gone about reminding that after separating from India somehow, Pakistan did not have the money to run the country, which India had given. For this, Mahatma Gandhi had also went on hunger strike and till date Pakistan has not been able to return that amount.
Imran Khan’s government may fall on Saturday
In the present situation of political turmoil in Pakistan, government finance minister Hafeez Sheikh has suffered a Senate election defeat. Since then, the opposition has come to dominate and the resignation of Imran Khan is being demanded. In the midst of a rapidly changing situation, Imran Khan met with the army chief and the head of the ISI on Thursday. After this meeting, Imran addressed the nation.
During this, Imran said, “I am going to bring a motion of confidence vote. Then I have to sit in the opposition or get out of the house, it doesn’t matter.” He also alleged that corruption in the country has been going on for a long time in the Senate elections.
