Ex-F1 driver and Michael Schumacher’s brother, Ralf Schumacher, has come out as gay, sharing a picture with his partner on social media. In the caption, he expressed that it’s very beautiful to have a partner like him with whom he can share everything. Several personalities shared their views and opinions on Schumacher’s same-sex relationship and Fernando Alonso was one of them.

Ralf Schumacher recently announced that he has been in a relationship with a man for two years. Disclosing such a relationship must’ve took a lot of courage for Schumacher. Fernando Alonso praised him for taking the step. The two-time world champion expressed his total support for Schumacher’s same-sex relationship. He believed everyone in the F1 community shall support Schumacher.

Lando Norris expressed happiness for Ralf Schumacher

Lando Norris highlighted that McLaren and Formula 1 over the past 3 years are promoting inclusivity and diversity. He mentioned that the whole world is moving in that direction, and the sport and his team supports this move. Norris reckoned it’s great news Schumacher announced and he is proud of what the 49-year-old dared to reveal.

It's a good thing. From an inclusivity and diversity point of view, F1, McLaren, we have pushed for it a lot over the last three or four years especially, the whole world kind of moved in that direction.

Norris added that he’s very happy for Schumacher because he can live openly and enjoy his life. The young Briton believed that supporting each other in relationships or mental health helps create a positive and accepting environment.
