Ferrari F1 legend Jean Todt ties the knot with $45 Million worth Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh after dating for 19 years

Formula 1 fans have gotten their picture-perfect pair as former Ferrari Team Principal Jean Todt recently tied the knot with his longtime love Michelle Yeoh. The French motorsports legend, who has also served as the President of the FIA, the governing body of Formula 1, from 2009 till 2021, announced that he has gotten married to Yeoh after dating for 19 years. The two started seeing each other during the early 2000s and moved in together in 2004, according to Financial Times.
Michelle Yeoh is a renowned Hollywood actress who has starred in huge projects like ‘Crazy Rich Asians’, ‘The Witcher: Blood Origin’, and ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’. The latter earned the Malaysian her first Oscar at the age of 60. In 2022, Yeoh was named as one of Times Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People. In their wedding invitation, Yeoh and Todt’s love story was described right from the start. It said, “We met in Shanghai on 4th June 2004. On 26th July 2004, J.T. proposed to marry M.Y. and she said YES.“
The news of Jean Todt’s marriage did not make it to the media until former Ferrari driver Felipe Massa revealed the news. Confirming the Brazilian’s report, Jean Todt took to his Twitter handle and claimed, “Now that my other son @MassaFelipe19 has “discreetly” spread the good news, I can happily confirm the union with the Love of my life, Michelle.”
Jean Todt’s marriage to Michelle Yeoh is not his first
Ferrari’s famed Team Principal Jean Todt has been engaged to Michelle Yeoh since 19 years ago, but the Frenchman was married to another woman before that. Jean has a son from his previous marriage, Nicolas Todt, who has followed his father into a career motorsports as well. Nicolas is a French motorsports team owner, and has been a manager to some well-known F1 drivers like Daniil Kvyat, Pastor Maldonado, Felipe Massa, and Marcus Armstrong. Yeoh has also been previously married to Hong Kong business mogul Dickson Poon of the DCIL dynasty.
On the work front, Jean Todt has announced that he has walked away from Formula 1 to enjoy some time away from motorsports. But he will always be remembered as the root cause to Michael Schumacher’s triumphant Ferrari era as he was the German’s Boss at that time. Todt revealed to Corriere della Sera a couple of months ago that he still visits Schumacher’s family although the seven-time World Champion has stayed away from the spotlight ever since the skiing accident that seemingly sent him into coma.
