This prompted questions to be directed towards Floyd Mayweather, a long-time veteran of the sport, regarding Garcia’s activities outside of the boxing ring.

Mayweather was in the midst of celebrating the triumph of his young protege, Curmel Moton, last night. It was when an interviewer from FightHype.com approached with a probing question about Ryan Garcia’s recent controversial comments on social media. Mayweather promptly shut down the inquiry with an assertive reply.
