Cristiano Ronaldo has shaken the world of football after signing for Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr on a two-year deal. The 37-year-old had a forgetful end to the 2022 year after Ronaldo’s last FIFA World Cup campaign didn’t end the way he planned. Ronaldo also fell out with his beloved club Manchester United and had to force a transfer to the Saudi club.

The Portuguese talisman is not going to have a bad life in Saudi though. After signing the deal, Cristiano Ronaldo became the highest-paid footballer on the planet. According to reports, CR7 would be earning roughly $200 million per season. This figure includes all the commercial deals signed by him as well. His club salary escalated to $75 million per season with Al Nassr. Going by this, the Portuguese Talisman is expected to bag €3860 in 10 minutes at the Saudi club.

The lucrative deal signed by Cristiano Ronaldo will ensure him the luxurious life that he deserves after years and years of hard work. He would be playing in the Saudi Pro League till 2025. No one expected Ronaldo’s top-flight football career to take this turn. Although, it is fair considering he was unable to sign with any European club. Ronaldo will be moving to Saudi Arabia with his family soon.
