Cristiano Ronaldo is a man himself who has taken the world by storm over the years. Arguably one of the best footballers in the world, Ronaldo has broken and created many records that are quite hard to reach. #1. A thunderous brace against Arsenal (UCL Semi-Final- Second Leg- 5th May 2009)

Manchester United’s amazing run from the 2008 UCL victory was clearly visible as they won the match 3-1 on the night (and 4-1 on aggregate) thanks to goals from Cristiano Ronaldo (2) and Ji-Sung Park.

Park opened the scoresheet from a close-range goal in the 8th min of the match. However, the fans remember the game because of the goals from Cristiano Ronaldo. Just 2 mins after Park scored, Ronaldo, bolted in a super strike 40-yard free-kick from an almost impossible angle in the 11th minute. His goal was so unexpected that it made the commentators stunned and shocked everyone inside the stadium.

Ronaldo scored a second goal from an exceptional team play to seal the match for the Red Devils. But to this date, no football fan can forget that day and Ronaldo’s unbelievable long-range free-kick.

#2. Ronaldo’s unbelievable backheel goal against Rayo Vallecano (26th Feb 2012)

Cristiano Ronaldo shocked the world once again when he scored an unbelievable backheel goal. Real Madrid was offered with a corner kick, it was taken by Madrid playmaker Mesut Ozil, Ronaldo found the ball and surprised the Vallecano defence as Ronaldo surprised everyone by forcing a backheel instead of turning and shoot, the ball managed to get past the crowd and ended up at the back of the net. 

This goal has been one of those legendary goals that are quite hard to achieve again.

#3. The hat-trick against Wolfsburg (UCL Quarter Final- Second Leg- 12th April 2016)

Real Madrid was down by 2 goals to Wolfsburg during the first leg of the quarterfinals and was near elimination. However, Cristiano Ronaldo has other plans, He wrapped up the match single-handedly as he bagged in all 3 goals which helped Madrid to get into the semifinals. His brilliant brace was topped with a beautiful free-kick which sealed the match for the Los Blancos. To this day many fans talk about this match.

#4. Flying header against Manchester United (RO16- Second Leg- 13th March 2013)

Ronaldo went into flight mode after he scored the finest header of all time, that’s his incredible leap in a Champions League match against former side Manchester United.

According to studies, the Portuguese star can leap 78 centimeters in the air higher than the average NBA player can jump and can generate 5g of G-Force upon take off. His jump was calculated at an unbelievable 2.93m. 

He surely shocked many basketball players when scored an astounding header from Angel Di Maria’s cross.  

#5. Incredible Trajectory free-kick total against Portsmouth (30th Jan 2008)

Over the years Cristiano Ronaldo has managed to produce moments of brilliance that some players can only dream of repeating. And one of them is Ronaldo’s unbelievable free-kick that is still lingering in the minds of all football fans. His brilliant efforts from the 30 yards stunned the whole stadium and also David James, whose reaction says it all who was completely taken by surprise.
