Cristiano Ronaldo’s spectacular backheel goal for Real Madrid against Rayo Vallecano in the La Liga is one of the best the 37-year-old has ever scored. The game was a tight contest with both teams not letting the other one to score easily.
The only possible way to score was seemingly by a world-class effort and Ronaldo produced a wonder goal to save Real Madrid from dropping points. Cristiano Ronaldo scored the best goal of the 2008/09 season with his wonder goal against FC Porto in the UEFA Champions League. His long range effort in that game won the Puskas Award that year.
Manchester United came into that game needing a win or a 3-3 draw to qualify for the next round of the Champions League. However, it was the 2nd goal of the game that caught everyone’s attention as Ronaldo scored a bicycle kick from a Dani Carvajal cross to beat the Italian keeper Gianluigi Buffon. The goal was so good that even the Juventus fans stood up and applauded the Portuguese international.
