EA Sports will remove all Russian clubs and the national team from FIFA 22

As Russia continues its invasion of neighbouring country Ukraine, EA has announced that Russian teams will soon be removed from FIFA 22, FIFA Mobile, FIFA Online, and NHL 22 following suit to organising bodies represented in its games, FIFA, UEFA, and IIHF.

The country’s invasion of Ukraine last week has flared anger and rage across the world, with many football clubs, players and associations speaking out in support of the victims.

The video game producer is now the latest to call for peace as the conflict rages on and has made the decision to remove Russia’s teams from all of their products.

“We’re also actively evaluating related changes to other areas of our games.

“We will keep our communities up to date on any actions taken, and thank players for their patience as we work through these updates.”

Adidas Halts Partnership With Russian Football

Russian Football Federation Adidas

Adidas, Europe’s largest Sportswear manufacturer, has said on Tuesday that it’s immediately suspending its partnership with the Russian Football Union following that country’s invasion of Ukraine.

The German sports company, which has been partnered with the Russian football program for years, is joining FIFA and UEFA in censuring Russia. Adidas signed a long-term partnership with the Russian Football Union in 2008 and featured prominently when the country hosted the World Cup in 2018.
