Lionel Messi made his debut in acting as he featured in the second season of the Argentine comedy-drama web series ‘Los Protectores.’ It is reportedly a five-minute cameo appearance of the little magician on the big screen.
Messi played the role of himself in the comedy-drama’s second season. In the cameo scene, one of the agents presents Messi with a ridiculous commercial proposal in which he would play for various Argentine football clubs each day in alphabetical order, with the possibility of going to each and every part of the world.
Unsurprisingly, Messi was unimpressed by this. He told them, “Well, it seems that you are uneducated. How did you come to offer business to me here? You didn’t talk to me about this, did you? Why did you bring me here? “
It remains to be seen if he will act again in the future. However, for the time being, he is entrusted with lifting David Beckham‘s Inter Miami, which is currently at the bottom of the MLS’ Eastern Conference.

Los Protectores is an Argentine comedy-drama Tv. show which was first released in 2022. In it, To salvage their failing firms, three very different soccer agents are compelled to work together as partners. Protectors Inc. develops as a sports agency that not only maintains its customers’ financial interests.
The three of them also specialize in keeping the athletes away from temptations. They guide them through the most anticipated scenarios. The agents are trying to escape bankruptcy and build their careers in a challenging industry in the show.

Argentine legend Lionel Messi made his acting career debut after being featured in the show. Apart from that, the show has a great casting. Actors like Adrián Suar, Gustavo Bermúdez, Andrés Parra, Laura Fernández, Jorgelina Aruzzi, Viviana Saccone. The show also features other great actors like Mercedes Scápola, Gastón Soffritti, Karina Mazzocco, and Martín Seefeld.
Los Protectores has two seasons. The show can be watched by any soccer fan, drama fan, or fan of good television. From the first episode to the last, this series is reportedly supposed to keep one engaged.

People are very much interested to watch the second season of Los Protectores which was released on June 25, 2023. The show can be watched on the Star+ app or the Disney+ app.
Fans seem so impressed with Messi’s acting skills that they’re also demanding him to appear for more minutes in the third season of Los Protectores where his role should be more than that of a cameo. However, as of now, it is uncertain whether there would be a season 3 of the show or not.
