OFFICIAL: Manchester United finally end prolonged saga to complete Jadon Sancho signing
Ah! Finally! Manchester United have finally completed the signing of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. The transfer which was rumored to have gone through from last summer’s transfer window has finally seen the light of day this year.
Manchester United have agreed a deal in principle to sign England winger Jadon Sancho from German side Borussia Dortmund for a fee of around 73 million pounds. He will sign a five-year contract at Old Trafford, with the option for a further 12 months. The fee of £73m being £35m less than the £108m valuation held by Borussia Dortmund last summer

Manchester United had begun negotiations with the German club from the month of May and saw their initial bid of bid of £67m at the start of June. However, they have finally given in to the hands of Dortmund to agree to a final fee is £72.9m, with no add-ons.
The deal will be completed once the medicals have been done, which will only take place once his assignments with the England National team is done with after the completion of the Euros.
Sancho has continued his metaphoric rise in football this season at Borussia Dortmund and has assisted 20 goals in his 38 appearances. He also has scored a total of 16 goals in all competitions to go with his assists.
The 21-year old right winger signed for Dortmund from Manchester City in 2017 and has gone on to make 137 appearances across all competitions, scoring 50 goals and assisting 67 in the four years at the club.
Manchester United have desperately wanted to sign the right-winger to boost their squad as they look to fight for the Premier League trophy this year and reinforcements are required in certain areas. United had identified certain positions where a major signing was required to make them fight for the trophies once again after they failed to win the Europa League this year.
The transfer has finally come after a long wait of more than a year for the Manchester United fans across the world and the player will be welcomed with open arms.
