Alphonso Davies and Jonathan David to lead the line as Canada announces 26-member squad for the FIFA World Cup

Canada national football team has finally revealed their 26-member squad that will take the flight to Qatar for the FIFA World Cup and fans are absolutely thrilled with the selections and decisions the manager John Herdman has made for the big stage. This is going to be Canada’s first participation in the World Cups after 1986 and is their overall second time.
The team looks absolutely stacked with talents and on paper, the attacking prowess looks stunning with Lille’s Jonathan David and Bayern Munich’s star man Alphonso Davies leading the line for the side. The oldest player of the side Besiktas’s Atiba Hutchinson will be the oldest player to play at the World Cups and will play provide a lot of experience in the middle of the pitch.
Six players from CF Montreal have made it to the squad which is the most number of any club and Canada will begin their conquest on 23rd Nov against one of the title-contenders Belgium which will be followed by Croatia and Morocco. Being in a tough group, Canada will have to stick to their plan and keep working to have any hopes of a round-of-16 finish.
