Argentine fans were found singing racist songs about France players and PSG forward Kylian Mbappe in Qatar ahead of the FIFA World Cup. A reporter eventually cut them off when a group of Argentine fans were filmed singing and chanting racist comments targeting the France players saying they were, “all being from Angola.”

A group of Argentine fans in Qatar wearing Argentina shirts were asked to perform a chant while being interviewed on TyC Sports, one of the major sports channels in Qatar ahead of the World Cup to motivate their players. The fans chanted, “they f*** transvestites like f***ing Mbappe” which was a dig towards Mbappe’s rumored romance with transgender model Ines Rau. Rau was the first transwoman to win the Playmate of the month after appearing in the magazine way back in 2017. She also told in her autobiography about undergoing gender reassignment surgery at the age of 16 but kept it a secret till 24.

Despite the fact that both France and Argentina are not even in the same group in the World Cup, Argentine fans are taking a dig at the World Champions. France knocked Argentina out of the 2018 World Cup in Russia at the round of 16 stage and the fans are aiming for revenge.

The two sides could eventually meet each other at a later stage of the tournament provided that one of them finishes second in their respective groups. Argentina is placed in Group C while France is in Group D and they begin their campaign against Saudi Arabia and Australia respectively.
