The FIFA World Cup 2022 is approaching soon, Lionel Messi is at the center stage and things are getting stirred up at the doors where former players are hoping for their countries to win the golden cup. Recently, on being asked about Messi’s passion for the World Cup, Ronaldo Nazario had comments about his country’s chances.
The former striker said, “Does Messi deserve it? Of course he does- but not with my support”, extending his belief in the Argentine at the same time when he wants his country- Brazil to lift the trophy once again and bring it home. R9 has faith in Brazil and with Neymar being in the destroying form, the team’s having many chances at Qatar.
The only difference that the striker has made is by having A FIFA World Cup to his name while both the GOATs of the generation, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo long for that trophy. Given a not ‘naturally’ strong team for both of them they have managed on the international level but the golden cup is a dream for many.
