Shakira and Bizarrap release hit song BZRP Music Session #53

Argentine DJ, Bizarrap, who recently released a super hit single with Shakira called BZRP Music Session 53 took to his Instagram to wish the Colombian singer on her birthday. He shared a story of a polaroid of the album cover on his Instagram, saying “feliz cumple Shakira.” Their superhit song, which went viral due to Shakira dissing her ex-husband Gerard Pique, has gained over 250 million views on YouTube since their release.

BZRP and Shakira’s Music Session #53 has been ruling the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 chart. The song went viral after Shakira had some serious threats and disses for her ex-husband on his affair with 23-year-old Clara Chia Marti. The Waka Waka singer had included lyrics like, “I am worth two 22s,” and “You traded a Rolex for a Casio.” This was not their first time either, with the ex-couple engaged in a toxic drama since their shocking break up.

Gerard Pique, the King’s league President struck back, as he signed a sponsorship deal with Casio for his league. Pique then went ahead and shared a cosy picture with his new girlfriend Clara on Instagram. Shakira also received huge applause for her controversial song with BZRP, while her song also managed to sneak into the Feroz Awards 2023 after-party.

Colombian singer Shakira smashed plenty of records with her latest release BZP Music Session #53 with Bizarrap. Bizarrap is Argentina’s most streamed artist on Spotify, and their song, quickly went viral, gaining more than 50 million views in the first 24 hours of its release. The song broke previous records held by Luis Fonsi’s Despacito, with Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber.

Shakira’s latest song has now topped nine US Billboard charts since its release on January 12. BZRP Music Sessions #53 is also in the list of songs with most days over +10 million streams in Spotify history. It has over 10 million streams on Spotify consecutively for 10 days. It’s also in the Top 10 songs worldwide on iTunes.

While Shakira celebrates her 46th birthday, the records broken by BZRP Music session #53 worldwide will surely be a treat for her. Fans all over the world have also wished the Waka Waka singer on her birthday while appreciating her success on the latest hit song.
