Chelsea and England stars Ben Chilwell and Mason Mount were spotted in the Red Bull Garage during the Spanish Grand Prix that took place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The duo was seen in a light mood after a disastrous season with the London club where they finished 12th in the Premier League.
The race was severely hampered by rain as the racers found it difficult to drive. However, driving in a wet circuit has been right up Max Verstappen’s alley as the Austrian finished first in this leg as well. This was Verstappen’s fourth pole position of the season and he doesn’t look like slowing down. With this win, Verstappen’s points tally rose to 144. However, Chelsea’s season has been nothing short of abysmal. Mount’s form has fallen off the cliff this season and Chilwell also lost his spot to Marc Cucurella earlier in the season.
Red Bull, the sponsor of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez has been on top of the leaderboard since the very start. This was the eighth race of the season and Red Bull has always secured the first or the second position.
Mason Mount and Ben Chelwill came to support the invincibles. Mount has had a very difficult season with Chelsea and has also not got much game time. The English player looked happy and relaxed while watching the race due to the current situation.

Mason Mount to Manchester United
The 24-year-old has had a very poor season with the Blues. The player has struggled to win every single match and even to avoid relegation. Even the performance of the English player has been below average in the entire season.
Mason has struggled to make his impact with the current squad of Chelsea. And somewhere the sacking of Thomas Tuhcel has also been a reason for the poor performance.
Currently, Chelsea is in talks with Mauricio Pocettino and the Argentine manager is ready to take control of the squad the next season. According to many reports Pocettino wants to remove players that don’t fit his style of play. The manager does not want Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, and Joao Felix.
After this news broke out many clubs like Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-German have shown interest in signing Mason Mount. But the Red Devils are in the lead and are desperate to bring the player to Old Trafford.
According to reports Erik Ten Hag sees Mason Mount as a perfect player that can shine under his guidance and play style. Currently, Chelsea has kept a price of 80 million euros but Man Utd is in negotiations for lowering the price.
As per reports, Man Utd will also make a formal offer to Mason Mount in the next few weeks as he is a priority singing for Erik Ten Hag along with Harry Kane. So, in the upcoming season, fans would see Mason Mount in the red jersey.
