Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr interested to sign Cristiano Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo has received the proposal of a lifetime following his split from Manchester United previously this week. As per CBS Sports, the 37-year-old has been provided a three-year with $225 million contract to play for Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr just after the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
That might grant Ronaldo a staggering $75 million contract into his forties. Ronaldo, who is currently competing in his fifth FIFA World Cup, has long piqued Al Nassr’s desire, and their focus on him is “stronger than ever.”
Al Nassr has been interested in him for some time, as well as other teams in the Middle East. According to CBS, Al Nassr’s value goes far beyond World Cup in Qatar. According to CBS Sports, the two parties talked over the summer, so if they do finally agree, an agreement finalization would be quick. Al Nassr is Asia’s most prosperous club, having won nine league titles.
With nine league titles, Al Nassr is among Saudi Arabia’s most influential and prosperous teams, with Al Hilal as its primary opponent, which has also reportedly proposed CR7, however, no additional information on the proposal has been launched.
Manchester United’s decision to release Cristiano Ronaldo
Ronaldo and Manchester United called it quits on Tuesday, as the Portuguese superstar prepares to return to his homeland to aspire to carry the 2022 FIFA World Cup to the nation. Both parties decided to part ways after Ronaldo criticized his English Premier League club in a blast TV interview.
In reaction to Ronaldo’s comments, Manchester United stated “ last week that it had “initiated appropriate steps.” Cristiano Ronaldo was reassigned to a tad position in Manchester United’s ultimate months, with hardly any participation in the latest matches and a strained connection with boss Erik ten Hag.
Ronaldo arrived on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” where he asserted that he felt “betrayed” by the team. Ronaldo was left out of Manchester United’s game against Fulham. He claimed that Manchester United were wanting to compel him out and that he had “no respect” for Erik ten Hag.
