Real Madrid and Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez has not been best friends with his mother, as far as rumors go. It has recently resurfaced that the crack in the glass palace might be Georgina‘s disregard towards a painting that the Ronaldo residents valued very highly.

Even after seven years of dating, the Spanish influencer does not seem to have a good relationship with the player’s mother, Dolores Aveiro. The conflict is rumored to have started when Georgina moved in with Cristiano in their house in La Finca.

Cristiano gave her complete liberty to decorate the house so that Georgina feels comfortable living in it. She is said to have made many changes in the look of the household. One of which did not sit well with Dolores Aveiro.

A large painting of Cristiano along with his mother was placed above the fireplace in the living room. This was apparently removed and kept in the garage by Georgina.

It was replaced by a painting of herself. The act was seen as a move to replace her and gain more power over Dolores, who has been a constant presence in the life of the Portuguese superstar. However, she has denied all these allegations.

The former Manchester United player’s mother may have had a part to play in another one of his relationships. It is speculated to be the reason which ultimately led to its end.

Cristiano began dating Irina Shayk in 2009 after they met on the set of an Armani Exchange ad. They reportedly got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2011.

However, the marriage never materialized after the pair broke up in January 2015. There have been many theories about why the pair split up. One of the most persistent has been that Irina refused to go to his mother’s birthday party. She complained that Cristiano spent too much time with his mother. This has been vehemently denied by Irina.

On the pitch, Cristiano Ronaldo is set to stay at Al-Nassr for at least another year. He will attempt to add the Saudi Pro League to his immensely decorated trophy cabinet.
