Did renowned Youtuber just catch up with Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema on Omegle?
Speed and Karim Benzema
Speed, an 18-year-old from the United States, was browsing Omegle, a chat site where users are randomly paired with strangers for conversations when he came across a user with the name and picture of Real Madrid star Karim Benzema.
Speed and Karim Benzema struck up a conversation and quickly hit it off. They chatted for hours about their shared love of football and their favorite teams. They even made plans to meet up in person.
However, Speed was in for a rude awakening when he found out that he had been talking to a fake account the whole time. The real Karim Benzema doesn’t even have a profile on Omegle. Despite the disappointment, Speed says that he had a great time talking to the fake Benzema and that he’s even more motivated to meet the real Benzema one day.
How many games will Karim Benzema miss due to his injury?
Real Madrid won their opening match of the UEFA Champions League championship defence against Celtic, but the 3-0 victory was marred by the sight of captain Karim Benzema being substituted due to an injury. The French forward’s substitution in Glasgow after only 30 minutes raised red flags.
Real Madrid’s successful 2021/22 season was greatly aided by Benzema, a heavy favourite to win the Ballon d’Or this year. He finished the season with 44 goals across all competitions. Carlo Ancelotti’s concern over his injury comes at a difficult moment as his team prepares to juggle a demanding schedule before the World Cup break.
Benzema departed the Celtic game because his right leg was clearly in discomfort. Real Madrid’s later exams verified the severity of his injuries. Karim Benzema has been diagnosed with a semitendinosus tendon injury and a quadricep muscle strain in his right thigh, according to tests performed on him by the Real Madrid Medical Services, the club said. “His rehabilitation will still be monitored.”
Ancelotti attempted to minimise the injury in his post-Celtic victory remarks, but that was before the Frenchman had any scans done. “We don’t believe Benzema has a significant issue. It just muscle,” according to Ancelotti.
