English outlets informed that Ronaldo’s actions have caused United to be “furious” with him. They had assumed that he and Ten Hag were on “good” terms and would work through the current break before deciding Ronaldo’s long-term standing. Given his connection to them and the fan base, United feels “blinded-sided” and “expected better” from the player.

The Glazer family, who owns the club, are reportedly not happy with how things are going and have made it clear to chief executive Richard Arnold that they want the matter to be handled “as quickly as possible,” according to Skysports reporter Kaveh Solhekol
