Joao Felix joins Chelsea from Atletico Madrid
Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are now close to agreeing on a deal to bring Joao Felix to Stamford Bridge. The London-based club will spend the obligatory £10 million loan fee Atleti asked. The Blues have also agreed to pay the entire six-month wage of £270,000 per week, or £6 million, for the 23-year-old, who is now likely to relocate to English soil.

Manchester United considered acquiring Joao Felix to replace the void left by the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, but he was regarded as too pricey. Joao Felix’s performance in Atletico Madrid’s loss to FC Barcelona
