Manchester City stars gathered together at the wedding of team-mate Bernardo Silva with his Portuguese model girlfriend Ines Tomaz on Saturday. The couple completed the ceremony in front of almost about 250 guests.
The ceremony and celebration were held at a hilltop hotel and winery on a vineyard estate in the Douro Valley which is an hour and a half drive inland from Porto. Bernado’s Man City teammates Ruben Dias, Kyle Walker, and Riyad Mahrez were all present. Interestingly, Portugal forward, Joao Felix, was also present on his national teammate’s special day.
Joao Cancelo was also in attendance. His future at the club though is still uncertain after he returned from a loan spell at Bayern Munich. Walker, Cancelo, Mahrez, Dias, and Silva all reportedly posed for a photo with Bernardo Silva’s agent Jorge Mendes, as he was also on the guest list.
The players curiously posed in the exact same alignment as their on-field position. Diaz at the back with Walker and Cancelo at both his sides, Maharez at the right flank, and Bernardo Silva at the center. It is not yet clear if Cancelo and Silva will still be City teammates next season. They have reportedly been friends for more than 15 years. They have come through the youth ranks at Portuguese club Benfica together.

Manchester City star Bernardo Silva tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend and stunning model Ines Tomaz in Portugal. His treble-winning teammates like Joao Cancelo, Rihad Maharez, Kyle Walker, and Ruben Diaz were all seen at the wedding.
Fans found it hilarious that all the Man City stars were even standing at their own on-field positions in the wedding photographs. They thought it was as if manager Pep Guardiola had drilled their positions into each of their heads. Many even took to social media to share their amusement at seeing the pictures from the wedding. One fan wrote, “Pep drilled it into them. It’s why they are so good.” Another fan wrote, “With Pep, players get programmed. You can literally predict everything correctly, very boring.” And a third fan wrote, “Only KDB is missing this Squad.”
