The reasons behind the FC Barcelona rebuild?

FC Barcelona had a season to forget in the previous season as they failed to qualify for the knockout phase of the UCL and having made it to the Europa League, were also knocked out by Eintracht Frankfurt in the quarter-finals. They also lost their star player and club legend, Lionel Messi at the beginning of the 2021/22 season.

The new team makes Barcelona quite a team to watch out for and the fans are really interested to find out what this rebuild will bring for the club. The club has also expressed its desires about some current squad members who need to move in the other direction with their finances still in a very critical stage. And according to Mundo Deportivo, there are four players who have already been told to find a new club with Puig already signed for LA Galaxy.

Mingueza, Umtiti, and Braithwaite have been informed by the club that they will not return with the rest of the first-team squad and were also left out for pre-season squads and haven’t trained with the club with the trio being informed that they do not have a future at Camp Nou. There are reports that the players have accepted the leave request and are already in the process of searching for their next team.
