French player ill before World Cup Final

The FIFA World Cup is nearly its end, with only the 3rd place match and the Final to be played. Amidst the dilemma of who will lift the trophy, the French squad is freezing their way towards illness. The French camp has been putting the blame on Qatar for air conditioning being used to tackle the scorching heat.

Antony, the Brazilian enchanter, picked up the complain at first after many around his team faced a similar issue. Fans at the World Cup have also been speculating about the air conditioning at the stadium in Qatar. They have been compelled to wear jumpers during matches to keep themselves warm.

The French manager, Didier Deschamps is put under grave pressure to pick up a team if their recently infected players Raphael Varane and Ibrahima Konate do not make it in time for the World Cup Finals. The glorious striker, Randal Kolo Muani, who scored the 2nd French goal against Morocco said,

“There’s a little flu that’s been spreading but nothing serious. They’ll be well soon and be ready for Sunday. Those who are sick stay in their room, they’re being taken care of by the doctors and we’ve been enforcing social distancing. We’re very strict about it,” as per Daily Mail.

The only positive information that the French squad has received before the World Cup Final is the return of 2022 Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema. Other than Raphael Varane and Ibrahima Konate, the French squad injury list just keep adding. Upamecano and Adrien Rabiot missed the Morocco clash due to illness.

Aurelien Tchouameni and Theo Hernandez have been missing training sessions due to injury. Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele said, “We’re not scared of that virus. Dayot and Adrien got a bit of a stomach ache, I made them a ginger and honey tea and then they felt better. I hope everyone will be ready for the final.”

“Dayot got better and I think everyone will be ready. We’ve been taking precautions. The first day, Dayot stayed in his room and we brought him food and he was back with everyone the next day,” he added.
