After Shakira finally left Barcelona to start her new life with her children in Miami, Gerard Pique has been left alone in the Spanish city with his partner Clara Chia. With no more Shakira to chase after in Barcelona, looking for reactions or paparazzi photos, the ex-footballer seems to be living his relationship with the 23-year-old rather more freely.
They have been much more relaxed and loving, walking side by side. hand down the street, hugging and even smiling for the cameras when they see a paparazzi. On the same day that Shakira, Milan and Sasha left Spain on a private plane to Miami, the former defender was caught by Diez Minutos magazine kissing Clara Chia in Andorra.
Clara not only attended with her boyfriend Piqué but also shared with her in-laws; They allowed themselves to be photographed kissing on several occasions. A Spanish magazine called ‘Diez Minutos‘ took advantage of the images it obtained of the couple and not only put one of them on the cover of its most recent edition but also earned a great headline: “Gerard Piqué eats himself with kisses to Clara Chia”.
The sporting event in which they were captured was a match with the Andorra Football Club, a team of which Piqué is the majority partner, and it occurred the weekend in which it transpired that Shakira would be flying to America and leaving Barcelona. When will the former Barcelona defender be able to see his children in Miami?
Gerard Piqué and Shakira have had one of the most notorious breakups of last year. The couple has been hounded by the media, with it all made more intense by Shakira’s increasing popularity following her various musical releases. A Spanish newspaper has revealed some of the details of Piqué and Shakira’s custody agreement, including how often he’ll get to see his kids.
Despite the controversy surrounding Gerard Pique’s break-up with Shakira, it has been made clear that the former Barcelona defender has always been a very present father. Pique enjoys spending time with his kids, but he will see them less often now, as Shakira left Barcelona to move to Miami. The Catalan will need to take time off his business commitments in order to visit Milan and Sasha in the United States.
Pique’s lawyers are already in contact with Shakira’s legal team to arrange the retired footballer’s first visit to their children in Miami. It is believed that Pique will travel to the United States in April to see his kids. According to La Vanguardia, he is allowed to spend time with them for up to 10 days per month and during summer holidays. Shakira has retained 70 per cent of the kids’ custody and Pique has 30 per cent, as long as he spends 10 days a month with the children.
